Terms & Conditions
Applies to all yoga offerings at Your Celestial Light | Yoga with YC
Your Celestial Light | Yoga with YC is the trading name of Yu-Chuan Liu, sole trader.
By booking or attending any class or session with me, you agree to the following terms. These are designed to support clarity, safety and a respectful shared experience for all.
1. Booking & Payment
All classes, courses and private sessions are booked and paid for online at the time of booking to secure your place.
Your booking is confirmed once payment has been completed. Prices for individual services are listed on the relevant booking pages.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
All bookings are subject to the following cancellation terms:
-
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session
You are eligible for a 95% refund. The remaining 5% covers non-refundable payment processing costs.
-
Late cancellations and no-shows
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session, and no-shows, are non-refundable, as studio hire and preparation costs are already committed.
If something unexpected happens, you’re welcome to get in touch. While refunds cannot be guaranteed in these situations, any support offered is at my discretion and will always be approached with care.
Cancellations by me
If a class is cancelled by me, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to another session.
3. Your Practice & Responsibility
Yoga is generally considered a low-risk activity when practised mindfully. However, as with any physical movement, some risk remains.
By attending, you acknowledge that:
-
You practise at your own pace and within your own limits
-
You are responsible for your own health, safety and wellbeing during and after each session
-
Group classes are not individually tailored
Everything offered in class is an invitation, not a requirement. You are always welcome to rest, modify, or skip movements.
I am not a medical professional and do not offer medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you are unsure whether yoga is suitable for you, please consult a healthcare professional.
4. Communication & Choice
If there is anything you’d like me to be aware of to help you feel supported in class (for example, preferences around hands-on adjustments or access needs), you’re welcome to share this. You are never required to disclose personal or medical information.
Returning students do not need to complete registration forms again unless details have changed. By returning, you confirm that previously provided information remains accurate and that you accept these terms.
5. Respectful Space
All bodies and levels of experience are welcome. I aim to create an inclusive, respectful and non-judgemental environment where each person is free to practise in their own way.
Unsafe, disrespectful or discriminatory behaviour may result in participation being ended without refund.
6. Personal Belongings
Personal belongings are brought to sessions at your own risk. I cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal items.
7. Privacy
Any personal information you share will only be used in relation to your booking and will not be shared with third parties.
